In 1981, after acquiring the Saab agency SIGMA M.E. sal was founded. As the company grew so did the range of cars supplied, and in 1985 as part of the company’s on going expansion strategy SIGMA successfully introduced SEAT vehicles to the Lebanese market.

In 2008 Sofidal holding acquired the majority of Sigma M.E. sal shares
